RetailMeNot is an e-commerce company that provides coupons and promo codes for retail and restaurants to over 24M unique visitors a month. With competitors including Groupon and coupons.com, RetailMeNot is looking towards design opportunities to improve their mobile UX to better serve their mobile customers. I decided to do an on-boarding teardown of RetailMeNot's mobile app to investigate how the company was currently on-boarding new users, identify any friction points, and provide my own brief critique.
